Got An Hour To Burn?

Orangetheory® Fitness, the scientifically-backed and fast-growing fitness franchise, announced on March 1 the launch of its brand new wearable heart rate monitor and a revamp of its mobile app. The new heart rate monitor, OTBeat Link, is worn on the wrist and powered by Mio. The OTbeat app pairs with the new heart rate monitor, and aims to provide a singular platform for members to view their workout histories, set goals, book classes, and much more.

“The science behind Orangetheory Fitness is what sets us apart from other workouts on the market,” said Dave Long, co-founder and chief executive officer of Orangetheory Fitness. “As a brand, we are constantly evaluating our programs to ensure we are using the latest technology to enhance the science-backed workout and provide the best overall experience for our valued members.

Launched in limited supply earlier this year, the OTBeat Link is an alternative to the existing OTbeat chest strap used in Orangetheory Fitness studios across the nation. While the monitor in the chest strap captures heart rate by listening to and recording the beating heart, the wristband monitor reads the heart rate through LED technology. To further sync with this new technology, Orangetheory updated its OTbeat application, which connects the in-studio experience with workouts done outside the studio. Users have more control within the app thanks to new features, such as the ability to set heart rate zones to optimize calorie burn, to analyze the amount of time spent in each zone and to view splat points from workouts in and outside of the studio.

“The ability to combine data from members both in- and out-of-studio experiences will provide users with a more complete view of their fitness levels and goals,” said Long. “Orangetheory Fitness’ objective has always been to improve the overall health and welfare of as many people as we possibly can – not just while in our studios – and the new OTbeat app is helping our members do just that.”

When was the last time someone told you that you have a beautiful smile? If it feels like it’s been awhile, then it’s time to pay a visit to Dr. Payam Asadi at Advanced Family Dentistry, located at 5209 North Oracle Road in Tucson, and start getting complimented on your pearly whites again.

Dr. Asadi has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry for six years and opened Advanced Family Dentistry earlier this year, taking over from Dental Village in that spot. They offer complete dental care for the whole family – everything from Invisalign and routine checkups to veneers, dentures and implant supported dentures. They also have sedation dentistry and emergency services available. Advanced Family Dentistry uses the latest equipment and they are able to handle a wide range of situations that frequently result in multiple visits to multiple doctors at other places.

The entire staff at Advanced Family Dentistry is dedicated to making your time with them as pleasant as possible. They want to make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way. “Everybody compliments our customer service and staff when they come to the office,” Dr. Asadi said. They also compliment them online, proven by all the five-star ratings on Facebook and Yelp. Guests say they “feel like a family member or friend” when they visit. They also talk about how the staff routinely goes the extra mile for their patients. Are you receiving that kind of care at your current dentist? If not, you may want to consider a change.

Providing excellent customer service is important, but Dr. Asadi and his team are also experts in their field. Dr. Asadi is considered an advanced general and cosmetic dentist. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Arizona with a degree in biochemistry then attended the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa, Arizona. Throughout his years practicing dentistry, Dr. Asadi has been a member of various dental organizations and enjoys pursuing further education to learn as much about his craft as possible. Dr. Asadi has always been willing to give back to the Tucson community he’s been a member of since moving here as a teenager. He began his career in dentistry by volunteering at the El Rio Dental Clinic and St. Elizabeth’s Health Center Dental Clinic. Now, he provides free dental care to homeless veterans in the community.

Make your next visit to the dentist one worth smiling about. Schedule an appointment with Dr. Asadi and the team at Advanced Family Dentistry by calling (520) 293-9277.
