Integrity Auto Glass:

a Name That Says it All

In an industry that is known for its scams, integrity sets the pace for Doug White’s company.

A native Arizonan, Doug has been in the auto glass industry since he was just 17 years old. But while working for a large auto glass company that focused on mass volume service for local dealerships where getting the job done at the lowest possible price for the dealership and cutting corners whenever possible were the priorities, he decided to start his own company.

“I realized I preferred working directly with the retail customer and I knew there was a niche for the consumer who wants it done right,” Doug says. He started small – setting up a booth at RV parks and small community events where he was able to meet directly with his clients and earn their trust. He says, “I did amazing for the first eight months by myself, then I knew I needed to hire some people to help me.” Doug has been able to handpick his employees, ensuring they are the best.

The first person Doug brought on was Steve Lostumo, whom he’d worked with at the other company. As a master technician with 26 years of experience, Steve is NGA-certified, airbag certified and DOW chemical certified as well. Shortly thereafter Doug brought on Danny Hallock, who holds the same certifications as Steve and has 24 years of experience under his belt.

Doug, who also is a NGA-certified master technician, takes pride in offering his customers the highest quality brands installed by highly skilled technicians who care about safety, quality and simply getting the job done right. His technicians receive yearly advanced training to ensure they are up to date on the latest advances in windshield technology. Doug says, “Safety is very important to us. If a windshield is not installed properly, it can actually blow out if the airbag is deployed, rendering the airbag useless.”

Today the industry is growing rapidly to accommodate new advances in technology. All of Integrity’s technicians are trained in the installation, calibration, and use of these technologies. Here is a brief list of some newer Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS):

Lane Departure Warning – on the rear or side, senses an approaching vehicle’s speed, distance, and warns of potential danger.

Collision Warning System/Blind Assist – sensors alert driver to cars in the blind spot.

Heads Up Display – display on glass just below the driver’s field of vision.

Collision Mitigation – radars help control the car’s speed to keep the car a safe distance from the vehicle in front.

Emergency Brake Assist – braking system works with cruise control monitoring systems and alert the driver to potential collision dangers.

Night Vision Assist – use thermal imaging cameras to help drivers “see” further down the road.

In addition to offering clients high-quality products installed by well-trained technicians, Doug is proud that his company is on the insurance companies’ preferred list, which is not an easy position to obtain. In fact, Integrity Auto Glass is one of only a few independent businesses in the state that have made the list. This ensures the customer they will not be billed for some outrageous amount, as the preferred listing status guarantees a set price.

Operating his own company also allows Doug to offer his clients something most large companies can’t – a wide range of service times, with mobile services running from 5:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. The company always works a day ahead and sets appointment times for the convenience of their customers.

Everybody loves a great deal so with any fully insured windshield replacement, customers receive an $80 American Express gift card to spend wherever they wish. For Doug, it’s his way of showing his appreciation to his customers.

Whether you’re in need of chip repair or a full windshield replacement for an older vehicle, an exotic car or even a motorhome, Integrity Auto Glass gets the job done right – with integrity and pride of service at the forefront.
